1) Peter Pan syndrome... Lots of men well into their 30s still have Peter Pan syndrome and +are afraid to grow up
2) our society has devalued marriage and as an extension, relationships and commitment has also been devalued
3) technology (social media, dating sites) and fast paced lifestyle has made people more experimental about everything, including their partners.. Maybe in the past people would have 2-3 partners before settling on someone, now people feel like they have endless options
4) men have always dragged their feet to commit and these days they have little to no incentive to do so (sex and casual partners are readily available to any half decent man)
5) men only commit when they want to, when they are ready (which is something many women refuse to accept)
